In addition to the exceptional sulphuric medicinal bath, looked-after parks, chirping birds, a stork nest on the church tower, nice, smiling people and statues welcome visitors. Beside fresh air, the country idyll, the modern infrastructure that has been shaped for 200 years ensure healing and recreation. In the high season, music programmes and festivals entertain the guests. This corner of Southern Transdanubia has an excellent micro-climate. The number of sunny hours exceeds 2100. The speciality of the water is due to that the sulphur compound includes carbonyl sulphide, which is absorbed and which exercises its beneficial effect than any other sulphates. Thanks to these features, it is suitable to treat the illnesses of the movement organs and rheumatic, dermatologic and gynaecologic diseases.
